Marsden Maritime Holdings Ltd (MMH) is a designated port company that is publicly listed on the New Zealand Stock Exchange. MMH has a 50% stakeholding in Northport, a deep-water port facility at Marsden Point and has significant landholdings in the adjacent area which are being progressively developed for port related and industrial use. The Company also owns the Marsden Cove Marina and adjacent retail complex, together with an established vessel haul-out and hardstand facility.
Northland Regional Council is the majority shareholder which classifies the Company as a strategic asset.
Applications from persons interested in being nominated as a Director of Marsden Maritime Holdings Ltd are being sought.
Nominees will need to offer a depth of governance experience and demonstrate leadership in, and awareness of, the public and private sectors. They will be politically and strategically astute and be recognised for developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders and the community. Nominees will have an affinity to Northland but not necessarily be Northland based.
Specific experience sought that reflects our skills matrix will include infrastructure, property, commercial development and risk management. Previous experience as a director of a publicly listed company will be an advantage.
